Instructor Cindy Earley-Steinke, represents Birth Alaska as a natural child birth educator since 1996, she will inspire you to make informed choices and reassure you that with adequate preparation and support from a loving, supportive coach (your partner), most women can naturally deliver their children. No drugs or surgery necessary!

Cindy encourages women and their partners to seek information from their health practitioners, allowing them to make informed decisions about pregnancy and birth. Her complete class is a 12 week course in natural childbirth preparation, and doula services.

Hypnobirthing with Joan Koval

HypnoBirthing is a rewarding, relaxing stress free method of birthing that is based on the belief that all babies should come into a world in an atmosphere of gentility, calm and joy.
Through a well thought out program of deep relaxation, self hypnosis, and education, HypnoBirthing returns to a woman the art of birthing in a way that allows her to summon her natural birthing instincts and to birth her baby in safety and with ease.
Classes are 2 1/2 hours once a week for 5 weeks. Cost is $300.

Joan Koval is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who has practiced in a variety of settings for over 25 years. She has been teaching HypnoBirthing since 2003. Joan also has a background in Hypnotherapy and an Energy Tapping Technique called EFT.

Joan's passion is to help couples release fears around pregnancy and birthing so we can continue to create and bring into this world exceptional loving humans.
